The Hoover High School Visual and Performing Arts department offers courses in drawing & painting, multimedia arts, design, ceramics, photography, art history, cinematography, instrumental and choral music, drama, and stage arts.

Many VAPA classes are also CTE and provide pathways to college and career, including offering classes that are articulated with Glendale Community College.
